Located in Ottawa, Rideau Hall has been the official residence and workplace of all Governors-General since 1867. This historic site has undergone a reconfiguration and redevelopment including the restoration of the architectural fountain, an important tourist attraction. The Fountain of Hope was built to honor Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope.The marathon took place across Canada to fund cancer research.
Surrounded by an oasis of greenery, the water fountain design and construction is composed of 70 brass jets, creating a perfect sphere.
This architectural fountain is poised to capture the admiration of thousands of visitors during ceremonies, official functions, and an array of public activities.
