Mechanical Design

Our in-house design and engineering team will help you with the mechanical, structural designs and provide professional assistance for plans or specifications. Rather than outsourcing this service, our in-house design team uses the most up-to-date software including Revit for quick, thorough and reliable work. In turn this provides more efficiency, reduces delays and creates better communication with other trades involved. We are licensed to stamp and seal our drawings in the province of Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British-Columbia.

The mechanical room is a crucial part of your aquatic project, having the right dimensions and design increases the longevity and overall operation of your project. Our team knows what it takes and has the knowledge to ensure all the regulations and standards are met accordingly.

Mock-up Tests

Soucy Aquatik conducts mock-up tests on site or at our warehouse to ensure the best possible outcome for your aquatic project. This allows us to fine tune any aspects of the design process. Our mock-up tests consist of building a model that verifies and measures the effects of water, lighting, splash, pressure, flow, drainage, slope and more. In addition, our mock-up tests reduce the risk of any complications or unexpected surprises from arising. These tests compliment a successful aquatic design project and play a significant role in its sustainability. Also, they allow for all the expectations of the project to be met to ensure the vision is matched with the final result.

Domino Park Fountain

Brooklyn, NY

Domino Park is New York’s newest waterfront recreational public space. Soucy Aquatik worked on the fountain located on the main deck and the ”Pier Reveal”, also known as the fog garden. Our scope of work included the mechanical design and engineering.
