Architectural Fountain in France
This water fountain was built in France in 1854 and features a main basin, a middle basin, and two upper bowls with cascading jets making it a stunning example of architectural fountains. Water from 16 spouting frogs streams into the middle basin and the middle bowl from the upper level of the fountain.
The middle basin has a group of four figures, and the main basin has three women, and one man, symbolizing rivers. A combination of light displays and static water effects were designed to highlight the fountain. This architectural fountain symbolizes navigation and fishing with its different statues and designs. The water fountain is one of six copies. Its replicas are in Porto, Angers, Soulac, Geneva, and Saint-Quintin.
