Square Viger Fountain
Aquatic Fountain Design and Construction

Square Viger contains two water fountains called, “Mastodo” and “Force.” Mastodo is a large basin that continuously fills with water. The inspiration for this architectural fountain is the harmony existing among landscape, nature, and urban constraints. The Mastodo was first constructed in 1984.
The fountain includes 2 basins with a few inches of water allowing users young and old to refresh themselves. The water in the basins also creates a subtle mirror effect, reflecting the city that surrounds it. State-of-the-art technology has been used to create a throwing ball effect when activating the jets.
