The Shipyards
Waterparks Design and Construction

The Shipyards is in Vancouver and functions as a year-round public space for gatherings, a splash park in the summertime and a skating plaza during the winter. 

It is right next to the Burrard Inlet, where downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains can be seen. The aquatic play pad is 8,000 sq. ft. with different small mountains that have water jets on the mountain and on the ground. The water is recirculated in the play pad. 

In the wintertime, the aquatic play pad turns into a covered ice-skating rink. Soucy Aquatik designed and installed the water features, water filtration systems, fountain controls and more for this aquatic project.
