Vauquelin Fountain
Architectural Fountains
Renovated as part of the 375th of the city of Montreal, this fountain bears the name of Jean Vauquelin, commander of a French frigate who stood up to the English in the 18th century.
This classic fountain features a circular basin highlighted by the 45 jets around the perimeter and 15 central jets illuminated by 36 RGB lights. The renovation of this fountain had several challenges since it was necessary to pay attention to the archaeological remains of this historic site.
